Aquatec® 8800 Booster Pump
For Increasing Water Pressure To Reverse Osmosis Systems with RO Membranes Greater Than 50 Gallon Per Day.

Aquatec’s original product, the 6800 Series and 8800 Series, are still the global standard in diaphragm booster pump technology, providing the highest quality and most reliable inlet pressure for efficient membrane utilization.

Typical Applications:
  • Water Treatment/RO Carbonation Systems
  • Beverage/Coffee Systems Water Vending
  • Dispensing Hydroponics/Aeroponics Misting Systems
  • Surface Sanitation Humidification
  • HVAC Coil Cleaning
  • Medical Lab Water
  • Autoclave Systems
  • Endoscope Reprocessing/Chemical Boost Dialysis
  • Chemical Injection
  • Methanol & Water Injection

Technical Specifications

OPERATION: The CDP 8800 is designed to operate with a PSW Tank Shut-Off Switch for hydro-pneumatic storage systems. The PSW when used with a typical under counter R.O. system, can be augmented with an ESO Electronic Shut-Off Valve. It is also compatible with most hydraulic shutoff valves. For counter-top systems, Aquatec's TLC Tank Level Control Switch Valve shut off feed water when the product water storage tank is full. The AFR Auto Flush Valve is highly recommended for higher production membranes requiring a CDP 8800, to ensure membrane efficiency.

POWER: Pumps operate with low energy (only 14 watts), low voltage (24 volt) motors, powered with compatible transformers with world wide primary voltages available (100 VAC, 120 VAC, 230 VAC). Transformers are optional and must be ordered in addition to the pump.

MOUNTING PLATES: The steel base plate is included at no extra cost.

FITTINGS: Built-in 3/8" John Guest half cartridge fittings eliminate need for external fittings (unless elbows are required). The location and positioning of the pump may affect its' performance. Consult the factory for recommendations that will optimize your system.

The pump consists of three parts:

the pump itself
the transformer / power cord
the pressure shutoff switch

Install as follows:

Turn off incoming water and RO storage tank valve. Open the RO Faucet and keep it open to relieve pressure.

Position the pump so that the inlet tube — the 1/4" or 3/8" tube that supplies water to the RO unit — can be routed through it. Observe the directional arrows on the quick-connect fitting ports at the front of the pump, cut the inlet tube squarely and insert the ends into the appropriate ports.

Cut the 1/4" or 3/8" tube that connects the tank to the unit squarely and insert the pressure switch so that the tank water will pass through the switch. Flow direction does not matter.

Connect the electrical wires from the pump and the transformer into the switch. The electrical connection will only go one way. If the connections fit, you've got it right. This switch will shut the pump off when tank pressure reaches 40 pounds.

Turn the inlet water back on and check for leaks. The unit should now start producing water through the open RO Faucet. Plug in the pump. The pump should come on and water production from the RO Faucet will increase.

Reconnect the tank to the system by turning on the valve on top of the tank, then close the RO Faucet and the unit is now in operation. The pump will turn off automatically when the tank is full and resume operation when water is taken from the tank.
