UV20 Series Whole House Ultraviolet Systems
The PURA UV20™ Series is designed to provide disinfected water at a flow rate of 8-10 gallons per minute. This system is ideal for whole house water treatment. In addition to disinfection, the double and triple models provide filtration for the removal of sediment and chemical contaminants. This ultraviolet water treatment system makes a perfect companion to water softeners, distillers, reverse osmosis and ozone systems. This is available with an optional lamp out circuit (LOC). In the event of a lamp or power failure this circuit can control a solenoid valve and/or an audible alarm. The UV20 series has proven to be PURA's most popular product line and has created an industry standard in whole house disinfection. All PURA UV20 sales are final. Manufacturer warranty applies.

UV20-1 Ultraviolet Only (10GPM)

Sunlight has long since been known to kill micro-organisms. The rays from the Sun contain the UV Spectrum used in Ultraviolet Water Treatment Systems--although at much lower intensities. It is also referred to as either the Germicidal Spectrum or Frequency. The frequency used in killing micro-organisms is 254 nanometers (nm). The UV lamps that the Pura UV20 series uses are designed specifically to have the highest amount of UV energy at this frequency. This system is ideal for wells as it treats the water without the use of chlorine or other harmful chemicals. Special Order Item

The Pura UV20-2 Whole House Water Treatment System utilizes the same UV technology of the Pura UV20 with the addition of a pre-filter for sediments and other suspended matter. It will remove sediments from your water down to 5 micron in size, and will help to protect the quartz sleeve from sediment damage.
