Pro Softener Mate

Pro Softener Mate is a unique blend of environmentally friendly chemicals formulated to remove limited iron, manganese, metal particles and organic compounds that cause water softeners to lose efficiency. It's a total softener treatment that eliminates the need for your customers to use water softener salt that contains costly additives. Every softener should use Pro-Softener Mate as part of a routine maintenance program. Regular use with water softener salt promotes efficient performance.

Applications

First Application:
Dissolve 1 cup of Pro-Softener Mate in 1 qt. of warm water. Pour directly into brine well. (Softeners with no brine well, pour directly into salt storage tank when salt level is low.) Manually regenerate softener. Repeat for heavily fouled unit.

Preventative Maintenance:
Add 1/4 cup for every 40 lbs. of salt added to the salt storage tank. Layer to ensure a continuous dose of Pro-Softener Mate with each regeneration. Water softeners on high iron bearing water should use Pro-Rust Out®.

Features & Benefits

Substances such as organics, silt, sand, oil, grease, iron and metal particles affect the performance of ion exchange systems. Proper care and cleaning of resin with Pro-Softener Mate will improve the efficiency and productivity of the softener.

Pro-Softener Mate's unique formula cleans and prevents redepositing of limited amounts of iron and other metal-fouling during regeneration. Surfactants and polymers aid in cleaning organics, dirt particles and silt.

A water softener operating at peak efficiency will improve soft water quality, help eliminate hard water buildup and solve laundry problems. Using Pro-Softener Mate regularly with any standard water softener salt will help a softener perform at maximum capacity and extend the life of the unit.
